What I've Become

I'm not even sure anymore.

I use to believe I was happy.

As through nothing could phase me.

But something did.

 

 

Am I alive?

'Cause I feel dead inside.

Or am I just talking crazy?

Who is this person, I see?

When I look in a mirror.

I see the life slipping from her eyes.

And the blood draining from her face.

Is she alive?

 

 

A monster?

Insane?

Or just emo?

How come I'm not sure?

It didn't even start as a question.

Just a statement..
