another chance at life....or a mistake meant to be made?

everyone knows how to shut me out

but no one knows how to bring me in

it's cold in here and the windows' shut

can someone give me the key to get in?

 

i'm lost but not forever though

someone, or something, found me out cold

it magically brought me back to life with

a remedy i was never told

 

i owe my debt and life to it

i haven't seen but a lip

so rosy and pink, almost red

maybe a girl with lipstick

 

i try to rise but stumble back down

first my strength's what i need to regain

but my neck is so sweaty and it's not not normal for me

because i'm in a cave in the middle of rain

 

it's so much sweat that it's bothering me

i swipe my hand to feel a bud

but i feel not one but two on my hand

i take a look and see blood

 

to the vampire who bit me i owe my thanks

twas for it i see everything once more

but was it really trying to save me?

or was it aiming for more?
