I let myself be used.

I guess I'm just that type of person.

But now I'm emotionally battered and bruised,

And everyone... I curse them!

I used to hide my pain and hurt behind a shody mask.

But I've ripped the straps now off my head,

And shattered all the glass.

Let's compare me to a toy,

Maybe a teddy of some sort.

I'm played with every day,

But I possess no voice.

I liked to think of the childrens cruel games as the way they showed their love.

But in reality they played these games,

For themselves and no one else.

They used me and they tricked me,

And I  stupidly obliged.

Feeling pain, Ignoring it.

They were breaking me inside.

They played me, and they drained me.

Untill eventually I broke.

Then they tossed me to the side,

For another toy to poke.

I sat abandoned in the corner,

Dry tears, rolling down furry cheaks.

As I watched the children play their games.

Such fun! And without me.

Then one small boy that truely loved me,

Well I though so anyway...

Walked over and just sat.

"Hello", he said, just quietly.

And I said a shy "hi" back.

Over time, he talked with me,

And stiched my aching wounds.

But thst small boy is gone now.

And my stichings come undone...
