gripping a blood stained rag of not so long ago
wash it all away and let noone know
wearing longselves and a mask for the show
the skies of blue have turned to grey
everything will soon go away
 this happiness will fade and never stay
an illusion is what is beginning to see
an illusion that hides the fact we're not free
and that in it what we thought will never be
maybe it was all just a lie
just to cover up the truth inside
as reality gets swept by
