Offwiththefairies Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,Or so they say,Then behold this:I’m ugly. I’ve seen things,Others never will. The have changed me,For the worst. I’ve been to places,I hope never to return.Dark places,That haunt a child’s nightmare. Some say I’m pretty,I beg to differ. They don’t know me,The real me. At school,That’s just a mask.A happy,Blissfully, ignorant mask. I look into the mirror,And ask:Why?Why am I here? I wouldn’t change for the world,If I could,I’d take away,The pain and suffering. Every step I take,Brings me closer,Closer to the edge of insanity. So I hope,That when I die,People will remember,Me.Not just my pretty mask
