Imagine

Just a little something I threw together Not my greatest, but its the middle of the night and I can't sleep. So here it goes:

 

Imagine the world was filled with happiness.

With gold for streets, peace among all,

and not a worry hidden inside our minds.

 

Imagine not having to put on a mask.

No one ever cries, dies, or lies.

Everyone loved,

No one hated,

All was good.

 

Imagine there was no suicide.

No depression, no sadness.

Nothing to bottle up inside.

Everyone was simply happy.

 

Imagine that one thing we hide.

I know my one thing. You know yours.

The thing we hide from our closest friends,

And sometimes even ourselves.

Imagine that didn't exist.

 

Wouldn't that be nice?

To never have lived in pain and suffering.

To never have thought of ending it all.

Not having to hide our feelings,

Because there were no bad feelings to hide.

 

Just imagine.
