Murderers

Recommended Posts

I am the Earth.

You are the Earth.

The Earth is dying.

You and I are murderers.

Cold and strong our icy fingers grip.

Stealing life from Mother's warmth and happiness.

Choking all that is good, we never remember...

All She gave us was love.

Tired of being used, the Earth is fighting back.

Thorns poking, wines whipping, blood flowing.

She is angry and we are at fault.

Too greedy are we who stole from our Great Mother's hand.

Never again.

"An' it harm none..."

Stop killing the only good thing left.

Lies, greed, hunger, desire...

Suffocating the only one capable of sustaining us.

We are too far gone to realize we are wrong.

Those of us with dignity and purity left,

band together and stay strong.

We will stand and fight to save our Mother Nature,

and our lives.

As long as I live, I vow.

Never again shall She cry.

This is a poem I myself wrote a few weeks ago. I hope you like it.

Might I also remind everyone that all of my work is copyrighted by Tate Publishing (As of 2011) and anything you try to steal will be violating said copyright and you WILL be fined.

I am an actual published writer and it saddens me greatly that some would attempt to steal my works and portray them as their own.

Please, I am freely posting my works for your enjoyment so you won't have to pay to buy copies and read them.

Don't dishonor and disrespect me by trying to copy and steal.
