Confused, nervous, need advice!

I've always been attracted to girls but I was with this guy for so long that I never had a chance to really see so now these feelings are pushing more like me being attracted to girls. Yeah I've made out with a girl before and I loved it but I'm nervous to try to even pursue a girl if that makes sense and I don't want my family to know. Gaaahhhh i don't know. As you can tell I'm just confused an would like some advice please and thank you.

1 you can presue a girl without your family knowing it's not like they are keeping tabs on you

2 maybe you like guys in a pansexual way and never like guys before because they are assholes

so maybe you are bi sexual and never realized it until you met this guy

and 3 I'm afraid of searching for guys cause I'm afraid most guys are straight or will not like me or other reasons but I'm searching anyway

 if you want a girlfriend just go for it what do you have to lose
