Me yah I like screamo and metal music, and prefer to wear black, but I wear green digi cam. Because thats who I am just like being emo is who I am. Actually, Emo is a musical subgenre, what you wear, listen to, and how you express yourself should not make you something other than just yourself. "Emo" is not even a label someone should bestow on themselves, because it is a critisism (or however you spell it), not a compliment.

Emo is emotive hardcore (music genre) and also a subculture. This topic is referring to the subculture and that subculture incorporates multiple elements, including the appreciation of specific music but also of fashion.

Now I stay away from useless discussion whether it's more about music or attitude or sth else... Nvm u.uUnderstand it as u want..But when creating your image you should depend on the deep feeling of yourself... Think if you would feel good and like it. Don't think about what people may think... I mean.. Don't go out with naked ass just because you feel like this xD But as long as you follow your heart it doesn't matter to what "style" your elements are attached. Styles are to be inspirations, not the rules.That's what I think. Thank you. ^.^
