One of my pieces

Hey, so some of my friends have kind of begged me to put some of my poems on, so here goes?

This is my latest one, i hope you enjoy, i guess.

 

Open your eyes take deep breath
dont let the seconds pass you by
grab the chance and dont let it go
hold on to it and maybe they'll never know.

That you're a scared little girl
with quite a lot of fears
but you can cover up them well
you hide your tears.

Dont back down
dont lose hope
just keep fighting on even when you've lost the strength
just keep calm
bottle up those tears
save them for a rainy day when the sun doesnt appear.

Swaying softly to a made up tune, trying to forget this never ending doom
smile to yourself and keep your spirits high
nodding to yourself and pretend you understand these lies.
