LitBlackRose Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) Like the blackest ink on the whitest canvas The brightest flower covered in the thickest blood. My soul is tainted to the core, My soul is dark nothing more. It's lonely like the midnight shore. Nothing is there, nothing will fill it. It is the secret inside me, but no one may see. The darkest hour will always be there, right there beside me. My heart is tainted that is all. Does being like this Put you in aw? My life is lonely but does not seem, but inside It all feels like a dream. I want to feel pure, but am not. I can not change who I am My soul is twirled, in my tainted world. Tell me what you think I know it's not that good though . I posted this on a poem sharing site and went back it it not to long ago. Have have may more poems . If anyone wants I could post another but I don't think people will respond to this Edited November 12, 2013 by LitBlackRose
EmoAdult Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I like this depressing poem! My favorite line is "Like the blackest ink on the whitest canvas". That's a cool metaphor for your tainted soul! ( I assume it is, anyways) You should post more if you want to.
