If all the soccer moms and their incessant protests every time a tear provoking teen suicide story made their newsfeed on facebook couldnt do anything, I seriously doubt you can. Still, props for trying, if this is after all an honest attempt at helping people and not just whoring for likes. "Boosting acceptance and support" is not what these kids need. They need to learn to live and enjoy life and not concern themselves with what others who barely know them think. A facebook page will only give them a place to go and complain and feel justified for not changing anything in a situation where things obviously need changing. Plus, such pages tend to turn into flurries of "omg Im so ugly" pictures(from girls and occasionally guys who are looking for a self esteem boost) , which then invoke a flood of white knights proclaiming their everlasting beauty. (in the cases where this doesnt work[they are not complying with societies standards of attractiveness], they tend to simply say its whats inside that counts, or not say anything at all) Yes, I am being somewhat cynical, yes, this is "just my opinion", but its the unfortunate truth.
