How can I convince my mom to let me stretch my ears?

So I've resently been thinking about possibly stretching my ears maybe up to a 2g. I've done a lot of research, I know what to do and what not to do... there's only one problem. I'm 17 years old so I still need my mother's ok to do stuff. And I don't know how to convince her. Any advice?

If  you don't go to the shop, but you just buy your expander set and start stretching it by yourself, then your parents can't say anything about it right?
