You cry I die

And still you wonder why

You scream I cringe

Its all beginning to unhinge

I watch her constantly tear apart

Your beautiful soul your loyal heart

You look at me with hollow eyes

I see each break spelling your demise

Wondering how you stumbled upon

Another path that's so withdrawn

By your side I'll always stand

But in your heart I wish to land

Hoping to erase every painful wrench

Hoping to unearth your solemn trench

But it's here I've come to accept

That in her hands you are kept

And my pleas for a requitted love

Are just of fantasy aside to shove

You'll never stop to take a second glance

Because you see beauty in a nightmare romance

So I'll be your breath as you are drowned

And when I've weakened you won't hear a sound

forever I'll stay alone in my place

Reaching for nothing in an arms race
