The Nightmare

The nightmare,

A drop of darkness,

Splashed into nothingness,

No reason to care,

Lost in the emptiness.

 

No where to run,

In space so clear,

Everything to fear,

There is no sun,

Silence is all I hear.

 

Far away dreams,

Darkened to hate,

Maybe this is fate,

A light gleams,

But all is too late.

 

Death is seeking,

Is this real?

It?s all that I feel,

Flood waters are leaking,

Will I ever heal?
