xshatteredsoulx Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 Cold one day Heavy footsteps is what I hear Up these flight of stairs My mind is clear In my pocket I carry a note Wanting her to read it At least thats what I hope Open this door Wind kissing at my face I think of her My heart begins to race On top of this building I start to realize The choice im about to make I start to cry Stepping closer Now im on the Edge Looking over the side of this tall building One step can seal my fate I whisper her name and say a prayer It seems life has me in checkmate I take the step Will it lead back to the stairs?
