Final Heartbeat

I find myself alone,

Alone in the dark,

With nothing left to feel,

But emptiness all around me.

 

Maybe this is how I shall die,

For death is all I deserve,

It?s all I want,

To die?

 

There?s no purpose to live,

Live a life without you,

Live, Love, Die,

Where has Love lead me??

 

I can feel the clock ticking,

Silence still surrounds,

My heart still beats,

A lonely beat for you?

 

I fall to the floor,

The frigid stone floor,

This room still just as caliginous,

As my heart begins to slow.

 

The last beat,

I inhale my final breath,

Exhaling the words ?I love you?,

And shutting my eyes for the last time?
