Looking up at the sky,

Praying that this shall never die,

I want to tell you how much I care,

But one look in your eyes and I can only stare.

 

I fear that this may be a mistake,

Giving you this heart to break,

I hope you treasure me to the end,

As you accept this broken life to mend.

 

I need you more than I need to inhale,

Wanting you more as I exhale,

I need a way to tell you that I love you,

Because this love I know is true.

 

I want to sing you the perfect song,

But when I try I get all the notes wrong,

I wish this poem would be actually worth your time,

But when I try and write I can?t seem to rhyme.

 

I love you more than words can say,

A love that shall never fray,

I pray to God you?ll never leave,

For if you do I don?t know how I?d breathe.

 

I may not be perfect, and easy to hate,

But break my heart and I?ll meet my fate,

I understand if you don?t want me,

If you only intend to hurt me then just leave me be.

 

But I?ll love you forever,

A love that shall never sever,

And for you love is all I feel,

Yes, this love is truly real.[/align]
