WickedLittleAngel Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 um... i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. i want to get my my lip pierced but my parents are going to to most likely disapprove (there's a 99.9% chance of it). does anyone know how i could get them to accept my choice and let me go through with it? i'd be extremely grateful to anyone who tries to help at all (: thanks in advance!

DaDude Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 fake piercings should be a short solution cause most of them are of bad quality, e.g= invest in some good ones cause they break pretty fast and most of them are pretty hurtful in the beginning, or for me: annoying cause my pain limit is high but most people find them too painfull to wear all day

xSAMMYxSUICIDEx Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 let em know, unlike a tattoo it's not permanent, you can always take it out and let it close if you need to for some reason. tell them you will research more about chance of infection and find a clean safe shop to get it pierced at. and you will raise up the money to pay for it yourself. ask to make a deal with them. let's say you do some extra chores or get good grades for a month and in turn --if you can live up to your part of the deal-- then they should let you get your lip pierced. or just wear a fake one. you can make one or i work at spencers, and idk about other stores, but i know we sell false body jewlery.. just don't end up piercing it and not telling them about it. it's a menial thing to lie to your parents about.
