-razorromance- Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Free Verse Poem: The End I feel the emotion slip through as tears flood down my cheeks. This pain is unbearable, to see him lying lifeless on the cement. A hole forms in the pit of my stomach as I crumble to the ground like broken crumbs of bread. With every ticking second the hole expands and I become smaller. I stare into his sad and lonely eyes that have glassed over. That are still the vibrant green that I tried not to remember. The hole had now engulfed me. I clutched at my stomach as I fell over onto my side. My eyelids fell swiftly over my eyes and I seemed to fade away. The pain now seething through my skin had escaped me. My mind had fogged over and my thoughts becoming dark, the last thought to me was Soon My love.
