Life is a song(a poem)

Life is like an unrehersed song,

One which you have to perform immediately

From birth.

 

You don't know the words, and the tune

Is unfamiliar,yet you try your best to belt through

It.

 

Sometimes you it a wrong note,or lose your place.

You stop singing to catch your breath,and it feels

As if you've failed.

 

Other times,the words come naturally,

And you feel a burst of confidence,and

Use that to carry on.

 

Some parts of this song will move you to tears,a slow,mournful melody

That may make you weep in agony,lovesickness,or

Any other form of pain you know.

 

Other parts may make you smile,laugh,

And be happy,with an upbeat you're

Bound to become familiar with.

 

Some leave you with anger,frustration,annoyance,

And lyrics that scream out to the world what

You long to say yourself.

 

Others may have creepy lyrics,that send shivers down your

Spine,and send your pulse racing,longing to stop singing,

But having to move foreward.

 

And throughout life, you will sing many lyrics,many notes,

and maybe many different songs,until the day that

song ends.

 

Keep Singing that melody,the one which we call life.
