Sad, an adjective meaning somber, dark, or dull; drab. These words hardly touching how I felt as I sat motionless in complete darkness. My body racked with tremors and my lips quivering unable to articulate a response to his pleading apologies, but not only was I unable to say anything, I didn't know where to begin. It is difficult to describe in great detail about what exactly I felt or thought for I wasn't in the right state of mind at the time. I was somewhere far beyond the reach of sanity that I most likely fell into a subconscious form of reality. The memories are murky and vague, some are more painful than others to try and envision.

"I.Love.You.Too." I huffed through my teeth. I felt them grind together as I heard his shaky voice filled with despair and stained with tears. I didn't know this at the time but I've come to realize that loneliness isn't in fact the actual feeling of being alone but instead the immediate thought one comes to apprehend that being alone is only temporary, and that the other half of one's soul is out there searching. Living a lonely life isn't as harsh as not living at all or becoming something unfavorable. In the end everyone has to deal with loneliness before they can become whole and happy. Finding the balance of togetherness only comes in time, kind of like a withering flower.
