-razorromance- Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Prelude: The sun ceased to shine, the rain turned into liquid fire, the Earth no longer possessed the beauty I once saw. Fear induced pain creeping beneath my skin, threatening to suffocate me. I had this thought of dying, of killing myself....an action I couldn't possibly go through with unless I was able to glance upon his face once more, or for our lips to brush intimately like they once had, or the wish of his arms wound tightly around me muttering sweet whisperings of a greater life....the beginning to our long enduring love affair, forbidden to us.... His eyes own the power to stop time Stealing into me they hold such incredulous beauty, Unable to believe what he was doing Eyes closing, preparation for perfection His fingertips nestled, carving their places beneath my chin. Hungry for his lips His every touch, a shock to which lit my blood on fire Skin etched in goose bumps A deep wanting stirred Soft against my cheek his lips the salvattion to my desire Heart leaping in response to his fingers fumbling through my hair Turn back time to last December when the clouds weren't as bleak and the sun still hot and facile Finding myself in need of it all no longer an innocent gesture of the mind But a sproutling which reality blossomed as the seconds rolled over to minutes Minutes passing hours forming A fire burning twisting volumptuous pain Beckoning a taboo call of the ominous clouds dispersing out across the horizon Wind grannules stinging my back snad digging into my skin no his teeth resting in my shoulder wanting this one craving that I couldn't possibly hold to be mine belonging to another why did he let me go... My last thought as I walked away and his engine roared to life the sound of him leaving me once again.
kingdomkid1 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Aftr writing over 100 poems, nothing of mine is like this. Its brilliant. It tells a story, but in a rhythm. U change feelings with ur words, i only step farther into the dark with mine. Great and for anything that inspired u for this, i will more than gladly talk about it and do evrythn in my power to help
Blayde Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 This is a wonderful poem. The way you write is if it's happening now. I'm sorry that that had to happen to you and i hope you can find something that will help make your life better after having to go through that.
-razorromance- Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Thanks to both of you, and I will be glad to talk to you about it kingdomkid1
