PAIN

 

Pain is manipulation in disguise

To instill fear into your subjects

But also your friends

 

Pain is a double-sided sword

One can attack with it

But when recovering

You will deal yourself a blow as well

 

Pain corrupts

Pain manipulates

But pain heals too

 

It keeps those who went astray away from the darkness

Pain causes them to realize their mistakes

And sometimes,

Pain is the only way out

Out of the dark

And into the light

 

Pain sways their ways

Pain saves lives

But pain can ruin lives

 

And i should know

 

And so should my scars

 

My scars of saving those in need

Only to be pushed away

Painfully

 

My scars of victory

And then realizing

I am on the wrong side

And being punished

 

My scars from hoping

But that is one thing pain wont change

I hope

Maybe not for much,

But for you

 

And that is worth my pain

My burden

My sorrow

And soon enough,

It will all pay off...
