lex. Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 it captures you when you least expect it.. when your not looking. you wont expect her. no. and when she gets you your life is no longer YOUR life. she's now your world. you'll never get rid of her. not without a fight. and she ALWAYS comes back. she creeps up behind you and whispers.. lies. closing your eyes wont make her leave. its not one of those things where " you just got to believe!" Your self esteem will drop, further than the depths of hell. Your weight becomes obvious, but you still hide it so well. She's now your only friend and the scale your worst enemy. her name is ana. and your now hers. [[ i wrote this about anorexia but i no longer think its true. i fought my way out of it BY MYSELF. if your going through the same thing i just wish youd come to realization that its not right and you can get through it.. alive. ]] fuck you ana your no longer my "bestfriend." you made my life a living hell every day i had to fight and defend. but i made my way past you, HA you never thought i could! i'm stronger than that, i told you i would! i am who i am and that's who i'm gonna be. i just want people to accept me..for me. magazines lie, anyone can photoshop. bones are out, curves are hottt;) ignoring your lies I WILL EAT THESE FRIES so fuck you ana, go pick on someone YOUR OWN SIZE.
~Lexxi~ Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I really like this, because depression and low self esteem can really take a toll on a person and cause real health issues. I'm glad you came out of that it's extremely dangerous. Hopefully people can read this and come to a realization that it's not the way to go and that physical appearances shouldnt rule your life. Fantastic presentation on the first part by the way.
lex. Posted July 16, 2011 Author Posted July 16, 2011 yes it can. see im not exactly sure what came first.. the depression or anorexia. but either way the anorexia didnt make it a bit better. people tear themselves apart over stuff like this and a person can only take soo much. NO ONE knows about this^ or ever will. but when people started asking if i was on drugs bc my shaking, pale skin, and wieght loss i decided enough was enough:)
~Lexxi~ Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I could see why someone who be driven to anorexia, with todays population of "be pretty and thin or be ridiculed" its so pathetic how people care about only looks and show models stick thin with perfect bodies to make teenagers feel bad about themsleves. I hope everyone can see it loke you did and stop. It's a horrible thing that has taken over so many peoples' lives.
lex. Posted July 16, 2011 Author Posted July 16, 2011 i know. its just skinny? why would you want to put yourself through ALL OF THAT just to be...skinny. its not like people can read this comment and be like " she doesnt understand or know what its like" becuase i do and i know what im saying. its not worth it.
-razorromance- Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Wow, that reminded me a lot of Ellen Hopkins's books, like Crank and Impulse. It was really good, and I understood everything. "She" won't leave without a fight, a fight that I'm still desperately trying to win. But thank you for writing something different, it was much enjoyed:)
