I keep thinking

Pick up the knife honey

Pick it up

Then I think back

To all the times I saw my blood

The pain that I inflicted upon myself

I sometimes have the urge

To cut once more

It is hard trying to keep a hold of myself

When in the past it could go away

With one single cut

But that cut would turn into many

I must admit

I do have an addiction

And because of it I am trying to stop

But it's hard

Sometimes I can't control

I feel as if I will slip up everyday

It's hard keeping a grip

Because I never know

When I will forget what I have learned

And throw away all my work

All my work towards keeping clean

I am a struggling cutter

Trying to stop for good...

Thanks razorromance. Its good to find a site like this that will actually have people that understand you and understand what you go through because in reality you don't find much people in rl that can relate. It's really rare for me to find people who won't take what i'm feeling or doing for advantage. :3 Thanks so much for taking the time to read it :3

This is a very good poem, and i'm glad that you were able to stop cutting. Unfortunately it isn't easy and hopefully other people with the same problem try as hard as you did to get over it
