Alright, so my mom won't let me get my nose pierced, so I really want to do it on my own. What's the safest way to pierce your nose by yourself?

And also, after you pierce your nose, how soon can you take the stud/ring out?

If you're hellbent on getting it done, just go with a 18 year old friend or something. Don't even try to do it yourself - that's asking for trouble and pain.

Trust me, it's better to not even try to do it yourself. I see so many people and younger kids piercing themselves or having friends pierce them, and it's bad. You can get infections very easily if not done professionally and it should be taken seriously. You need to put safety first. The best thing to do is wait till your 18.
