i step outside into the rain

why does it not wash away my pain?

im cold, im freezing

my blood is still

this is nothing more than a frightning disease

one that will never go away

because day after day

the sun does not come my way

its in my veins

it controls my heart

its what makes me cut my arms apart

all it is is clouds, deep and gray

that never leave to go and play

leave this heart alone

because before to long

it will break

and the pieces it will take

all too much for me

i cannot even sit to breathe

but i dont mind

suffocate me now

so i may go into the white clouds.
