Erasmas Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Life Poem: From point A to point B, Life's what comes in between, And living is moving From one place to the other. But motion is relative; Absolutes are elusive When the line's not inclusive, And we yearn for another. Hold out your hand, but don't grab ahold. Wait for her, Wait till you're told. Then pull her in tight so you'll never be cold. But why even bother? Your face now looks plain. There's no happiness here, but nor is there pain. You want to tell her the truth but it's hard to explain, So you just stand there and hug her. You look into her eyes, And her tears fall like rain. You hear laughs when she cries, 'Cause you're going insane. How long will it take-- And how far will you fall? If life's nothing but heartbreak, Why live it at all? How long did it last? You never could tell. You've lost track of the past-- That's how hard you fell. You know you hit hard From the scars on your face. But you draw your next card, And you pray it's an ace. Prayers fall on deaf ears, And you find no reply. You can't tell if He hears, So you don't even try. So is this how it ends? Shouldn't there be more? I guess that all depends On you getting up off the floor. Slit your wrists; on blood, darkness thrives. If it doesn't hurt, then do it some more. No one ever died without first being alive, And death teaches no lesson worth dying for.
Erasmas Posted February 2, 2012 Author Posted February 2, 2012 Thanks. XD I like this one better than my last one, which I didn't really like much at all. XD
