WriterSelbe
You think you've got it bad. I go to private school--and it's catholic. I'd get in trouble for having highlights like yours. Sucks.

ScarletTears
My mom lets me wear what I want, but I go to a Catholic school. They yelled at me for wearing my braclets and having my hair in my eyes, my bangs are shorter now so they don't yell at me for that now. I just ignore them, screw what they think lol. Alexia Biersack
I go to private school and we wear uniforms, and their uniforms sucks! so like, I can't express my self in school or outside cuz of my parents, They should really let us be who we wanna be ... I just hate it when I can't be my self. so yeah, for me, my life is so not the way I want it to be.
Assassin17
Luckily, my school lets me do what I want. Sadly, my parents, not so much. The best think I can do is bleach my hair and soon if I'm lucky tone it to white. But, because the family is very religious piercings, tattoos, black clothing, chains, and really anything representing emo like the spikey hairstyle is not allowed. Assassin17
Like most people here, I wish my parents would just let me be me.
WatashiBozu
My mom and school are very laid back. As for dying hair and piercings. That has to be done slowly. Opening their horizons a bit. My mom has tattoos so she understood what i wanted but that took a while of convincing. I started with just my ears. The asked for one lip piercings. Later got the other. squirrelsoap
I embarrass my mother in public looking the way I do, but she doesn't tell me what to wear, except to church. And even then I don't do what she says. As for school, I follow the dress code...barely. Luckily we're allowed to dye our hair and have piercings everywhere.
