This poem is about a guy I like but doesn't like me back. If you like my poetry and read more, be warned that lot's of my poems will be aout him haha

 

The pain of this world weighs heavy on my heart

every broken memory

every picture torn apart

I'd gladly endure it all

with happiness i'd fall

if your arms were out to catch me

 

You look at me with wide, scared eyes

who is this crazy girl?

why does she tell such lies?

I act that way because you're here

My soul acts up when you are near

Your life is mine, my life is yours

indirectly

 

I may not look how I feel

it's not easy to express myself

but you must know that I am real

If you let me, i'll show you

I'm not the girl you want, I'm a being that's new

So please, stop running.
