Depression:

 

So, this is depression?

I can't get back up when I hold myself down.

Water slides downhill,

So if I lay at the bottom, I'm going to drown.

 

Ah yes, depression.

I look up while clouds form in the sky.

The race is on,

But I just lay where I am when there's no reason to try.

 

Oh, depression.

The rain falls, and it's cool on my skin.

I close my eyes.

I'm not even moving, but still my head starts to spin.

 

This must be depression.
