Long hairstyles

My hair is quite long, (as in, another inch ot two and I could literally sit on the ends) and I have had three hairdressers say to me that its too long to layer. Anyone know if theres some truth to that any if so why?

I would just try it myself but I Love my hair and dont wanna screw it up!

Any other hairstyle suggestions though? (It'll be green in a few weeks but other than that.....)

My hair is really long too. Mine doesn't go all the way to my butt, (7 inches higher or so.) My brother says you can layer it at my length, but probably not yours. I hope I helped! :"D

You can get long layers, which just make it a bit fuller at the bottom? you could also have it layered at the top which would give you basically a mullet, and wear extensions to thicken out the longer hair :]

If this is possible, you should be able to get layers.

if u get layers ur hair might thin out to much since urs is so long...ud prob hav to wear extenstions if u want heaps of layers all ova the place

i totally understand, i sit on my hair constatnly it goes to the back of my knees. i was wondering the same thing about the haircut

Either way, I got to dye my hair green, and its EPIC!!! so I wont bother getting it cut.
