Snow White’s Frozen Heart.

 

An angel frozen in time,

Kicked from the heavens.

Her wings ripped from her back,

Her body broken and scarred.

 

She screams in pain

As her soul is bared.

A danger in itself,

Open and broken for all to see.

 

This mortal girl

Sees through the eyes of a demon.

A monster she has become,

And a monster she shall be.

 

Torn apart from deep inside,

Her shadow crumbles,

And her reflection walks away.

Soulless.

 

Unworthy of love,

Unworthy of happiness,

Snow White bites her poisoned apple

And to the hands of Death she falls.

 

Sleep now.

Sleep forever.

A tainted girl casts herself,

As she plunges deeper into darkness.

 

A light shines,

Beckoning and luring,

She lunges further into false illusion.

Trapped forever in an empty darkness.

 

Hopelessly wondering the darkened pits of her mind,

Her heart screams for his ice kiss.

The kiss of a demon,

Much the same as her.

 

Lost in his tormented mind,

Blackened hearts call.

The song of a thousand deaths plays

As beauty seeps behind them.

 

Enlightenment to her darkness,

He takes her hand and opens her eyes.

Neither demon nor monster stands before her,

Yet a mortal much the same.

 

Tormented and broken,

In ways which he cannot explain,

He takes her hand,

And he takes her away.

 

Away from the darkness and

Like the fire in his eyes,

Her heart burned bright

For this foolish demon man.

 

He had saved her,

Heart and soul.

Burning in the flames of his fire,

She calls for him.

 

Calls for his perfection.

Broken and damaged,

The puzzle pieces fit,

So it would seem.

 

This demon of hers

Was nor monster nor man

For she knew the inner workings

Of such a being.

 

And it is so that she herself,

Was much the same,

And as each troubled mind began to grow,

Little did she know…

 

Snow White was asleep,

Yet in her dreams,

In her dreams she saw her prince.

A man as evil and as dark as she.

 

Her majesty rose,

And from her dream state she did scream,

For all she saw was inside her fantasy,

But if you look closely, then you will see,

 

This storey, my dark prince, is about you and me.
