Guest My Bloody Valentine Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 When people usually see me, they think Me and Christianity, do not click. Im just wanting your opinion on this. Can a Christian listen to anti christ music? :L
Amz Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Well, yes. I mean, it's physically possible. If you're wondering as for whether it's right for your religion, probably not. Think of things this way: Would you walk into church listening to something, wearing something, saying something? If not, it's most likely because it's not the best with your religion.
Guest Moon_Panda Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 this depends on a few factors : Do you consier yourself to be christian or do your parents just want you to be? Do you like the music? Would you rather stay home and watch TV/ surf the web when eveyone else goes to church? and so on and so on. personally i think religion SUXXXXXX ( Exept BUDISM , Budism ROCKS) cos all the pain and suffering it has caused to so many people in history, especially christianty.
PurpleKitty Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 ^ why dress/listen/act or do anything based on the religion? just be who you want to be listen to what you want to listen to
Melody Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 o.o I saw antichrist and thought someone called for me xD
XxPocketSizedEmoVampirexX Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 yeah...i dont see wats so bad bout being religious but listening to anti christ music
xXwhy?Xx Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 if athiest can listen to songs wrote about god then why can't christians listen to anti-christian stuff? it may not sit well with your religon but its who you are you shouldn't try to change that.if it's thats what you feel comfortable doing than do it
xxfang<3'sbaconxx Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Every war up until the French and American revolutions were fought over religion, even the war on terrorism that America and the Taliban are involved in is because America reads the bible while the Taliban reads the Quran! Religion is not something that a billion people must believe in to be christian, or Buddhist, or satanic, it's what you as an individual believe, not what the pope or some other "holy dude" says. It's what you believe about what happens after death and before life.
ChupaChup^^ Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 im Cristhian, but i don't believe god or something else
XxPocketSizedEmoVampirexX Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 theres ppl at meh skool who listen to anti christ music...n my skool is christian n anglican xD
Abaddon Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 It's perfectly fine in all truth, unless you personally think that it is getting in the way of your religion and you. If you believe this "anti-christ" music is hurting your relationship between you and your beloved church, then you should probably stop listening to it. Otherwise, fuck it and listen to the music.
WasteOfMind Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 To quote the bible: "Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial" Draw your own conclusions.
Emojoint Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Hm theres nothing that says you cant listen to that music o.o
bloodshot69 Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain??answer me that and ill become religiouse
WasteOfMind Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain??answer me that and ill become religiouse God is behind the scenes, where we have told Him to go. You shut Him out of the schools, government and cities, what did you expect?Rainbows and peace? Well, here, take a shooting a month instead. RIP those who died in Connecticut.
Hawt3m()Boi Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 God is behind the scenes, where we have told Him to go. You shut Him out of the schools, government and cities, what did you expect? Rainbows and peace? Well, here, take a shooting a month instead. RIP those who died in Connecticut. So what you are saying is that you think the shooting was because people do not believe in God? Seems legit.
Silky-Potato Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I listen to songs about gay sex, doesn't mean that I have to have gay sex. Being religious and listening to song's that go against your religion, nothing really wrong with that. Potentially a little dubious, but if you're taking it purely on a shallow musical level then I don't see anything wrong with it.
Chip Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Im Christian and i listen to whatever i want to. I dont think God just sits there and listens to songs about himself. listen to what ya want
WasteOfMind Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 So what you are saying is that you think the shooting was because people do not believe in God? Seems legit. So youre saying I said things I didnt say? Seems legit. This shizz happens when you outlaw praying in schools, teach kids that morals are for old people, and the top 100 on the music charts promotes total garbage. But considering it, to a certain extent, you are right. It happened because the douche that did it obviously didnt believe in God. There, said it now.
