He and She.

as they walk into the cafe

one of them dieing one of them laughing.

She walks in with her firends

he sulks in alone.

hes treasuring memories once lost

she wants to make new ones.

they bouth pretend they don't notice eachother

yet you can see it in theyr eyes, they miss oneanother.

he walks out

she tryes to follow.

hes already gone

she misses his love.

what a sad thing to see

bouth want eachother so badly.

she made the fatal mistake

but he could never forgive her.

no second chance for the one who betrayde him.

she tryes to apolagize

but shes too proud to admitt she was wrong.

he rushes away

in her mind she cryes out '' please stay! ''

as he runs further and further

you can see tears in his eyes

he stops by his home

but there he is even more alone.

after midnight he sits in the park

he sees an image in the dark

She walks out of the shadows.

he knows its her

he wants to jump up and run.

but she yells out ''wait''

''i have something to say''

he hears out her story

nodds as a sign of understanding

and finaly says.

'' you have a story so sad,

well.. what about mine.

you left me broken and beaten

heart torn out and bleeding

you have friends, your never alone

and you brag about your perfect home.

you pretend your a victim

what an obviouse roll

im the one who always feels cold.''

both are quiet

not knowing what to say

but he closes his eyes and just... walks away.

she stands there in the light of the lantern

she bursts out crying

as he walks away again he hears the word ''stay''

he walks back lifts her in into his lap

and so they sit there,

after midnight in the park

bouth desperatly holding on

until the shadows are scared away by the dawn.

bouth still there

she in his lap.

not saying a word.

because theres nothing to be heard.

maybe this is for the best,

and as the world goes by they simply rest.
