I was curious to ask this question, have any of you grown apart from this dark lifestyle pretty much all of you have on here. Walked away from the loud, angry music. The dark, gothic clothing. And the anxious, shy personality? This is not directed to all the people on this website, but its to those who do indeed like to label themselves 'emo'.

 

I never thought of myself as 'emo', I followed the music taste. And slowly came onto this site. In the meantime, yes I did have the style. Skinny jeans, tight t-shirts. But now, haha. I'm a completely different person. Now I wear checkered shirts, creepers and all that shit. I've grown up from the painted black eyeliner around my eyes, the obsession with having my fingernails painted black at all times. Plus my music taste is different, Slipknot, Lamb of God and Shinedown. To Nirvana, Kings of Leon and Twin Atlantic. But, I was just wondering... Have any of you grown up from it?
