I whisper in the breeze.

even though I'm alone

voices reside a somber tone

 

Warm kisses upon cheeks

The promises you made

If our love was real

You would have stayed.

 

If not for love

You shall be my friend

You promised me forever

You said 'till the end.

 

What a fool I am.

I beg, I plea

I was an idiot

you were right to leave.

 

you are now gone

and I am forgotten

like a willow in the trees

I whisper in the breeze.
