Ok so sometimes I tease my hair other times I don't. I prefer unteased beacause it doesnt damage your hair and it's less work but you tell me...teased or unteased?

I figured out that if I use volumizing mousse and blow-dry my hair upside down it stays huge and I don't have to tease. No damage. But I also have a cut with tons of layers.

if you have short layers on topr its pretty if you tease it but staighten the bottom layers if they are long,that what i like to do but it is kind of a hassle so i dont do it sometimes

Unteased.  I don't like to bother with my hair as much.  I even outgrew my layers and kept my hair naturally straight with slight waves at the bottom, and changed my formerly side swept bangs to straight cut bangs.  It looks nicer on me.

 

Then again, that's just me being a lazy fuck.  Up to you.

A little bit teased. Since I have black people hair, it's naturally huge if I just fluff it up a bit. I tease it if I fel like it (which is only for special occasions I.e. a rave or something)

I had straight bangs. NOOO PICTURES. But, it wasn't that bad.

Well sometimes i braid it all up and untie it in the morning it gets big so i straighten it and itll look like i teased it, but if i dont want it to be too big i just leave it to dry and i kinda have like sheep hair so i straighten it

I think teasing your hair is good if you want that extra volume on those special occasions.
Doing it everyday is just tiring and like you said it can really damage your hair.
