Do your parents allow you to wear your own style?

Well I know that's one of the most problems when you're a teenager. You want to wear whatcha want and not what your parents want you to wear. I want to wear my style ... but my mam wants me to be  a 'cutie'. That sucks. Whenever I create my own style ... people always say 'ew emo/stream punk/ .. style .. I mean why the fuck do you care? We all have our styles ... so tell me about the way you dress like ... or just what's your favourite style?. xD

I like dressing in black...mostly skinny jeans or baggy black jeans with a black jacket, a beanie, a few chains, and 2 crosses, one on my chain, and another on my belt

I dress my style inspired by visual-kei, oshare-kei, punk, rave punk, steam punk,  emo, goth, deathrock, lolita, harajuku, and some others maybe. ^.^ Anyway my parets have little to say. I don't live with them ^ ^

Well my parent let me wear what i want, i mean all am really wearing is dark skinny jean and bands shirt, combat boots and stuff. It not like am wearing slutty clothing or something.

 

I know how you feel about the stupid kids that alway like "wtf are you wearing" or your style scare me". I have lot of shit like that back in  7th grade but now I learn that I DON'T GIVE A FUCK LOL so no one can do shit \m/.

Growing up, 

 

parents want their child to be the best that they can be. 

 

And sometimes, 

 

it's hard for them to transition into letting their child wear what they choose, 

 

whether being it's different than how the parents were dressing them, 

 

it's deemed as trashy or inappropriate,

 

or it's something else that isn't to their liking. 

 

When I was younger, 

 

it was to hell if I thought I'd wear something they didn't like. 

 

After a while, it really sunk in. 

 

I don't know where I'm going with this.

I always wear my dresses I get from the thrift store. The 50s style was so adorable I just love it. So, in short, my parents are totally okay with everything I wear.

Eh. So long as my parents know that its just a style, and I dont think it defines me, theyre chill about me dressing how I do.

But if they forbid me from ever wearing black again, I would have so much fun with other colors. Its just that I prefer black.

I wear what I wish. I have Piercings but I can't get tattoos until a year from now. which doesn't bother me that much. But I've been to a tattoo shop with a few of my friends to watch them get theirs >.<

My parents don't care, my mom tells me to dress more like a woman. Thing is, I'm not always in skinnies and a band tee.

I wear what I feel that day. If I feel like wearing a skirt with heels, then I shall. If I want to wear shorts with a skull tee and Toms. Welp, that's what I wear. It all depends on my mood. But they let me pretty much wear what I want.
