Do your parents allow you to wear your own style?

Casual:I wear a black n grey shirt with skinny jeans

School:the freaking uniform,the jeans I want and a black hoodie

In the past my mother doesn't like me to wear "black" cuz it doesn't express anything...but now she likes it...

Yea my parents do they hate it when I wear my band tees and they make me go change and basically choose my clothes for me and I'm 17

parents always want us to fit in with the normal look, but they don't understands we don't want to wear that look, my step dad doesn't mind my look as long as I have confidence in what I am wearing, which I do, the normal is black eyeliner, colourful jeans or leather look, t shirts with funny sloguns or black t shirts, converses or vans or doc martins, with lots of accessories... that is the best look xx

my parents support the style im into, regardless of my not exactly knowing what my style is they approve of it; i mean i guess any parent would approve as long as you dont have visible nipples...

wow thats very fucked up... and well my parents tell me they wanted a normal child... and thats all they asked for was for one normal child... my sister was goth when that was popular, and im well as people like to call "emo" and my brother is scene so no my parents hate how i dress.

My parents were always more "alternative." They pretty much let me live with the "go nuts with limitations" mentality.

 

Like their ideology on tattoos are simple enough, and I quote, "Your body is your canvas, but be able to cover it up." Which means like, you can put whatever you want on your body, but don't show it off. They also let me know that they can't really stop me from doing something, but they let me know their feelings toward it. I just have enough common sense to not turn my body into a circus act.

 

I feel really grateful to have the parents I have.

Dont you have anything better to do than stare and point at the guy that doesnt want conformity, who likes to do his own style, who has his own views on what he can and cannot wear! Ok.
