This one's a simple, staccato-sweatshirt love ballad, with nifty guitars, and a trembling bass line. I hope y'all like it, and if it ain't too much, I'd like a comment to see if I'm doing it right or not. Right... onto the lyric Emerald Vessel You've got all this circuitry sticking out Out of your blabbing mouth Your heavy hyper drive mind Makes you bob and drown Deflated speech balloons float before me The hum of live current holds me down I want to reach out to your mind I want to plug myself in your shrine Chorus Cast a hex on the opposite sex Connected with everyone but so emotionally inept Wept and kept inside a cage of flesh I want to let you out/ I want to return what's left Stare deep into orbs of soulless green Words are tinged with the coldest shade of steam Lightbulb above your head flickers and dies Lost in the constant stream of data and dreams Sparkling supernova concealed behind nerves Electronic transmitters spread the word I want to fly with you to the stars I want to rip out that steel plating from your heart Chorus Cast a hex on the opposite sex Connected with everyone but so emotionally inept Wept and kept inside a cage of flesh I want to let you out/ I want to return what's left
